JR Bantan Line train
A 2-coach train of Japan Railway's Bantan Line at Track 1, Himeji Station on 4th April 2013. The Bantan Line connects Himeji, on JR's Sanyo Line (not to be confused with the Sanyo Railway Co., a separate company) which runs along the Inland Sea coast, with Wadayama Station on the San-in Line, running from Kyoto up to & westwards along the Japan Sea coast. This particular train terminated half-way up the line at Teramae Station, from where a single-coach train completed the journey to Wadayama.
