7827 Lydham Manor at Paignton on the P & D

GWR 4-6-0 7827 Lydham Manor pulls into Paignton station on the Paignton and Dartmouth Railway on 23rd June 2007. The remnants of the mornings deluge still on the platform.
The park in the background is where Paignton play cricket and the water was standing underneath the covers!

4-6-0 7827 "lydham manor" was indeed built in 1950 by british railways to a 1938 gwr design of c.b. Collett. However the tender carries a 1913 builders plate, so two world wars separated the construction of locomotive and tender.
