This is one of the second generaton of Rc locomotives, used for all types of traffic. They were modernised in the 1990s with new air intakes, and 30 or so were rebuilt to Rc3 with gearing for higher speeds. The remainder were transferred from SJ to Green Cargo in 2001, and later painted green (instead of the original blue, see the Rc2 1038 behind this one).
