4472 Flying Scotsman at Doncaster
At the Doncaster 150th celebrations LNER 4-6-2 4472 Flying Scotsman has a gathering crowd of admirers who all want to "cab" the Pacific.
Built at Doncaster in 1923 she was the first official 100mph steam locomotive although Great Western fans would argue that City of Truro did it first!
4472 is currently under overhaul at York and not expected back until 2009.
