LMS "Jubilee"

LMS "Jubilee" 4-6-0 45593 Kolhapur has moved from the Barrowhill Roundhouse for the 1968 and all that exhibition at York on 24th May 2008 before moving to the Birmingham Railway Museum at Tyseley to join the overhaul queue.
This is one of my favourite classes of locomotive and I can't wait to see her back in steam.

I found a b/w photo since mum died which was obviously kept as my grandad worked for the railway in Q. Park Bedford and I think this is one he would have worked on as an employee

Hi Delia I worked in bedford north signal box in the late fifties any chance of a copy of the picture

The loco was built by the North British Locomotive Company. See their diamond shaped plate on the front frames
