258 - Belgian series 65

The 258 is one of the EMU's in of type 65 trains. It is different from earlier and later types in that the 2x2 front signal lights are placed horizontally in stead of vertically.

The SNCB/NMBS series 65 (former type 213) counted 6 diesel-hydraulic prototype locomotives, build in 1965 that later were renumbered as series 75 for shunting purposes in the Antwerp harbour. EMU 258 belongs to the series 00(3) type 1965 (nrs. 251 to 270).
