The new Alloa Station

Making the decision to re-open the Stirling to Alloa Line has proved a great hit with the local residents of Alloa in Clackmannanshire. Here we see this Class 170 'Turbostar' DMU disgorging it's passengers on this Sunday Service. At the far end of the platform , there is a set of stops. The line on the left is the freight line , which eventually reaches Longannet Power Station on the River Forth.
