Beautiful Gleneagles

A Class 170 'Turbostar' DMU rushes through the lovely Gleneagles Station in rural Perthshire with it's next stop in Perth. Gleneagles Station was built to service the 5-star Gleneagles Hotel , near Auchterarder , which was once owned by the railway , where well off people still go to relax with superb Golf Courses. The hotel was used for the G8 meetings

There nice trains but they never come through Alness its always the DMU 158s

You mean they hardly run north of Inverness on the Far North Line , could be a weight restriction as they always come in sets of three , whereas the 158's have two cars.
