This photo got me puzzled at first, really puzzled. Part of a UK collection of photographs, what was this US locomotive doing in amongst it? And then I noticed that the track looked 'off', ie a bit narrow for the real thing. So...
This is a replica steam locomotive of the Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 No. X4008 "William Jeffers", part of Dobwalls Adventure Park's 7 1⁄4 in (184 mm) gauge Miniature railway networks.

My favourite amongst US steam locomotives. They must have been magnificent to watch in their heyday working in Wyoming.
