The 2101 NMBS electric locomotive

The 60 locomotives of series 21 of the NMBS were built between 984 and 1988. They were built by BN with the powerful 3140 kW electrics by ACEC. Weighing 84 tons they were able to maintain a speed of 160 km/h.

The 2101 is waiting here at an end station, notice the lovely flowers. I wonder whether they choose red flowers on purpose :-)
