Hunterston boundAnother at Cardonald in June 1987; a train of empty ore tipplers heading from Ravenscraig to Hunterston, also near Largs for reloading. 37324 CLYDEBRIDGE and 37321 GARTCOSH in charge.
Ravenscraig steelworks are long gone but the Hunterston facility is still very much in use with import coal its saviour and Class 66 hauled trains running to various destinations in Scotland and to the Yorkshire power stations.
I seem to recall that 37324 is now in private ownership.
