A Warship at Barry

A1A-A1A Warship D600 Active resides at Barry Scrapyard on 25 May 1969 after a short working life of 11 years. It was an absolute tragedy that one of these small class was not saved but the main focus was to save as many steam engines as possible and they were ignored.

I agree- it was a pity because the North British was such an iconic company and failed quite badly with diesels sadly. One of their Type 2s was there as well.
