40065 at PerthHaymarket stalwart D265/ 40065 at Perth in June 1978 on a Glasgow to Aberdeen train. At that time both Glasgow and Edinburgh to Aberdeen services were regular Class 40 turns giving these trains prominence equalled only to that given in steam days when they were the preserve of A4 Pacifics.
