D1041 Western Prince

D1041 Western Prince at what looks to be the half way halt of a Railtour, The Midlander.
Built at Crewe in 1962 she covered 1,384,000 miles before being preserved by the Bury Diesel Group at the East Lancs Railway.
Originally class 52 74 of these Type 4 diesel-hydraulics were built for the Western Region of BR.
