92207 at BarryClass 9F at Barry scrapyard in South Wales in August 1966 waiting its fate. Built at Swindon she entered traffic in June 1959 being withdrawn from service in December 1964.
Luckily she was saved from cutting up and is now restored in private ownership.

The problem with 9F's is that they are too large for most of our heritage lines so can only be run in a very few places. Network Rail have refused to have one run on the big railway because of likely damage to the track.
